Co-written and co-directed by Matt Barber and Matthew Webb, graduates of San Jose State University film school and Fuller Theological Seminary’s Theology & Film program, respectively, WEATHERED, an Angelus Live Action semi-finalist, offers a perceptive, moving portrait of a woman immobilized by grief over losing her fiancé. Starring MadTV’s Nicole Parker in a uncharacteristically dramatic role, the film follows Weather Wellington as she attempts to fulfill her dormant longing for meaningful human contact via the mundane task of making doctors’ appointments. An Audience Award winner at the Indianapolis International Film Festival, WEATHERED has also screened at the Heartland Film Festival, among others.

Matt Barber is a Los Angeles-based film and television editor whose credits include the TV series’ Chuck and The O.C., the short film The Oates’ Valor (which screened at both the Sundance and Cannes Film festivals), and the recent Celebutantes webisodes directed by McG. Barber has also written and directed various music videos and short films. A graduate of San Jose State University, Barber’s student film, The Rule, received the 2000 Doc Arrends directing award and became a Top Five rated film on Ifilm.com.

Over the past ten years Matt Webb has been a student, teacher, writer, director, producer, actor, missionary, husband, and father. Matt has written, directed, produced, and toured the U.S. with an original theatrical musical revue, written film reviews and study guides, taught theatre at Huntington University, directed more than 15 staged productions in the U.S. and Haiti. Matt recently finished his masters degree in theology and film at Fuller Theological Seminary and is completing his first feature screenplay
