Jitensha “The Bicycle” screening at Windrider

We are excited to announce that the award winning short film, Jitensha by Dean Yamada, will screen at our closing night event in Sundance on January 30th.  We look forward to having Dean join Hilla Medaila and her film, After the Storm, along with 2010 Spirit of Windrider award recipient Ralph Winter, for a night full of fun and celebration.

Jitensha is a short film about a bicycle dismantled…and a life retrieved. Shot in Tokyo by director and Biola University film professor, Dean Yamada, along with a crew of 14 Biola film students, Jitensha has since garnered elite acceptance into the world’s top film festivals such as the Venice Film Festival and the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, and was honored in 2009 as the Best Short Film at the Heartland Film Festival.  www.jitenshamovie.com
